Blue Sky Therapy specializes in the treatment and healing of trauma and offers EMDR therapy by an EMDR Certified Therapist. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based, trauma-focused therapy. EMDR enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. EMDR is an effective therapy to help us heal trauma, PTSD/CPTSD/Complex Trauma and can be used to target other issues including anxiety, panic attacks, depression, chronic pain, complicated grief, and other trauma and stress related issues.

While no therapy intervention is a magic fix, EMDR is often a quicker way to process past trauma and painful life events than traditional talk therapy. EMDR does not not require you to talk about your traumatic experiences or go into great detail.
